Getting to Know Dr. Kevin Kearney Vetted Radiology Authority with Nearly Two Decades of Expertise

Dr. Kearney began life with a focus on athletics. 1988 to 1990, Dr. Kearney played quarterback on the University of Washington football team and was All-State Quarterback for the State of Washington in 1987. From 1993 to 1998, Dr. Kearney trained for the Olympics in the Decathlon.

Education and Background

Dr. Kearney obtained his M.D./M.B.A. at Tufts University School of Medicine, going on to pursue a demanding Internship in Medicine at Boston University. He then completed his Radiology Residency at the prestigious Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Kearney served as Director of the Breast Care Center in the Beaumont Hospital System and was chosen as the Breast Imaging Director for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Arizona.

He subsequently became the National Director for Breast Imaging at a large national imaging facility, working to expand their new multistate telemammography program. Dr. Kearney serves as Medical Director and lead Physician for medical facilities throughout the country.

A Leader in the Field of Breast Imaging

Today, Dr. Kearney works with facilities throughout the nation, including those in California, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, and Florida. He works directly with breast surgeons and healthcare facilities to overhaul inefficient systems and streamline results. He currently assists part-time in the Breast Imaging Department at Valleywise Health Centers in the Greater Phoenix Area, providing coverage for all facets of breast imaging, including screening/diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRIs. As part of his role, he trains radiology residents and medical students from Creighton University Medical School and visiting Radiology Residents from the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Kearney is licensed throughout the United States, is MQSA-qualified, and has consistently completed CME breast imaging courses over the last two decades to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices.
